After Mr. Rathnasiri Wickramanayaka was appointed as Prime Minister he visited Dharmayathanaya and on that occasion he was donated a Buddha Statue by Ven. Elle Gunawansa Thero, the Founder of Dharmayathanaya.

The first school that started in Sri Lanka for the STREET CHILDREN called LAKVIDU VIDUHALA at Community Center of Gothami Road, Colombo 8 on the idea and advice of Ven. Elle Gunawansa Thero. The first lady of Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, Madam Shiranthi Rajapaksha was the Chief Guest. The Mid-Day meals and dresses are supplied free of charge to the Street Children in collaboration with Dharmayathanaya and the Department of Police.

LAKVIRU
PRODUCTS TRADE
CENTER LAKVIRU PRODUCTS TRADE CENTER was established at No:1200, Denzil Kobbekaduwa Mawatha, Pelawatta, Battaramulla. It was ceremonially inaugurated by the Right Honourable President Mr.Mahinda Rajapaksha on 10th January, 2011. Through this Trade Center facilities have been made to sell the products produced by disabled War Heroes who were trained by Lakviru Sevana Vocational Training Center and rest of the other disabled person in the island. This is the first establishment opened for the Disabled War Heroes and the disabled persons in Sri Lanka. Ceremonial Reception

The Lakviru Model Farm at Ja-Ela

![]() The Lakviru Model Farm at Ja-Ela, Ekala is fully organic and established by using the services of minor disabled War Heroes. The extent of this farm is about 40 Acres.
![]() A Dairy consisting of cattle saved from slaughter named PIN GAWA BENKUWA is started at the same premises. All the cattle here are saved from slaughter and now they are living freely and safely in this farm. |
